Team coach Kris Burger had this to say about the event and what the team has planned for the coming montgs..
“This weekend in Mexico was quite possibly the best event experience we’ve had in 10 years of being in the Esports Gears Scene. The experience was made due to the pure passion that the LATAM community has for Gears. From the pictures, autographs and energy in the convention center,it was all so electric. We had a strong performance with a fairly new roster, with only roughly 1 month of time together. Over the downtime during the next 2 months we are going to focus on the weaknesses that presented itself this past weekend. We know what we need to work on to get ourselves into the top 4, and we are going to work on those areas diligently. We had very limited time to prepare for Mexico, and with the time in between we will only get stronger and smarter as a team in the coming weeks. We look forward to pushing ourselves to make this happen. We want to thank the entire Gears community for the support and amazing time we had in Mexico City for making it THE BEST event to date!“
